will there be any problems if i put in a stage 3 racing 6 puck clutch in my civic. IT's basically stock, with just a home-made cold air intake and short shifter. will there be any danger in that?

dude you don't need any kinda of stage clutch in your car. What kinda brand are you buying anyways? If i were you the biggest i'd go is stage 1 clutch w/like a fidanza flywheel. You don't have any major mods to your motor therefore buying something that extreme is stupid. Have fun trying to push in a stage 3 clutch for a DD. haha

well i have never heard of x1. I wouldn't get it, if i where you. And if i where you i'd just wait to get a clutch and flywheel since, you don't have any big modifications to your motor. And stage 3 clutch...your going to break an axel reallly easy, when you launch. Just get a flywheel and stage 1 exedy or something along that lines that is name brand!.

yeah you'll break axels, basically thats all, but that becomes a pain in the ass when you keep doing it over and over again. Just make sure when you put it in, make sure you do the proper 500mile break in before dumping it, and being a stage 3, im sure it will grab hard at first, but probably won't last long, but when you do start to dump your clutch, just for the sake of your axels, i would feather your clutch when launching.

There not cheap, I'll tell yah that much, but a good set of axles is all you will need and then you can dump the clutch as much as you want. Your not going to break these axles, There a stage 1 axle, holds up to 200 WHP, Runs you about $400 bones, should be plenty fine with that In less of course you go F/I and get over 200whp, but for now your totally fine. Here's the link to the axles, they have Stage 1-3 but it gets real pricey. http://www.hybrid-racing.com/axle_eg_fabrication.html
