purchased new 2006 Pilot three months ago. 17-22 mpg advertised on window sticker. followed break in procedure. use 87 octane. normal driver on both city and highway. averaging overall 16.65 mpg. best ive seen so far is 17.06. what's the deal ????? Havent come anywhere near 18 let alone 22 mpg.

I have a 5 month old 2WD. I get 15~17 for local run and around 25 for long distance if use cruise control. I tried long distance without cruise and ended with 20. So the milage depends very much on the way we drive(acceleration and breaking). KK
