Hi, Im a new college graduate as of this week and Im going to be buying a new car so I was hoping to find someone here who knows about cars. I need this to drive around boston in (so they need to be able to handle in the snow). My parents are helping me out with the down payment so this is pretty much it for my price range (I dont want to have to take on much more debt). Ive narrowed it down to the Toyota Yaris, the Honda Fit and the Hyundai Accent. Anyone see a clearcut winner between these? Right now Im leaning towards the Fit because Im partial to Hondas. Here are the car choices: http://vlane.com/comparison/2121

welcome to the forum. I own one and have 47k in 15mos of driving. 38-41 mpg hwy, not using the a/c, 32-37 in the city with a/c. Have driven yaris and accent, good cars. Fit carries more, better value down line, less maintenance cost, easy to park, not many blind spots. Try to get the dealer to give you better tires, Dunlop are noisey, I have Kumhos . Also I have the base model. The sports looks better, little heavier.

welcome to the forum, enjoy your stay. The Honda Pilot is a fantastic SUV for a family of 6, not a college grad looking for milage and a price he can afford, the least cost pilot is 27k. the cars a college grad is looking at is 13 to 18k. Need to show this pilot to familys and retired wealthy folks that like large vehicles for comfort and beauty. or camping.

I''d go with the Fit, sporty lil car with good gas mileage, and it''s Honda so you know it will last long.

While choosing a car important thing is to check the spare parts, safety and mileage. I think hyundai accent is the best car for you. *********************** Llyod http://www.widecircles.com
