Hello I have a 1993 Honda Concerto 1.6i 16v that has developed the following two faults that a garage has been unable to remedy. 1) A fanbelt type of noise, but without the familiar screeching sound, coming from the drivers side (UK) of the engine when cold or stuck in traffic for long periods. All belts including Cam have been replaced but noise still appears. 2) Revs fluctuate when idle. When slowing to a stop with the clutch in the revs drop below the the usual idle position and car almost feels like it's about to stall but revs pick up again once stationary. Revs then continue to fluctuate until I pull away from lights. If I stop for petrol, for example, after driving for a while, it's often difficult to get the car to start again. It will fire but the revs always drop too far and the car stalls. It's fine after about the third attampt. Any thoughts or similar issues experienced?
