Hi! My name is William. I have a 2001 honda 130 outboard, powering a 30 ft. fiberglass tri-hull small houseboat. The problems: 1. started with some sputtering and stalling while on the water 2. later when I would turn the ignition key off the electric fuel pump would continue to run, 3. also when I would leave the boat over night, the engine would turn over but would not crank. What I have replaced or checked and the results: 1, I have now replaced the main relay a. but the engine still turns over but will not crank. b. When I place the old relay back on the engine, sometimes it will crank but the same problems as above still exist. 2. my fuel is good and is getting to the fuel pump 3. with the new relay, the engine turns over great but will not fire Questions: Could it be the (ECM) electronic control module? Has anyone incountered this problem before? Does any one have a suggestions? Could use some help! William
